“A Family Adventure in America’s Heartland”
The Sire of the litter is Si, a purebred registered Great Pyrenees. He has been an invaluable member of our LGD team. Si protects our goat herd from coyotes and other predators by patrolling the perimeters. The Dam of the 12 LGD puppies is Lola, a Pyrenees/Anatolian mix. She is a wonderful guardian dog, who likes the lookout position (or staying with the herd). Lola has been just as good at mothering the puppies. She birthed all 12 unassisted, and has been able to feed 12 puppies without intervention. We tried to help with bottle feeding, but she wouldn’t allow it. We have even witnessed Lola take individual puppies to feed separate from the group to ensure they are getting enough nourishment.

LGD Puppies for Sale

If you have a working farm/ranch and are in need of LGDs to protect your goats or sheep, give us a call (phone numbers on contact page), or email us at LGDinfo@bonneauranch.com. Keep in mind, LGDs are working dogs with a very important job to do. They protect their charges. Although our LGDs have an even temperament around us (enjoying scratches and dog biscuits from time to time), they mainly want (and need) to be around their herd to ensure their safety. This means that they will be most active at night, barking loud when needed to keep the predators away from the herd. During the day, even though they are ‘resting’ some of the time - they are always aware of what is going on around their herd. LGD Pricing: 1) 8-12 Week old LGD - $500. This includes all shots and vaccinations up to this age. Vet certification of health is available for additional cost. 2) 3 months up to 2 years - $500 (non-refundable deposit) + $100 per month working experience charge. This includes all age-appropriate vet visits, food and daily experience/working around the herd while being mentored by the other LGDs.
