“A Family Adventure in America’s Heartland”

About

Bonneau Ranch started as an idea to bring back family traditions of years past.

This adverture started in the summer of 2018 when we moved our family from the Kansas City area to Glasco, KS. We soon realized that we not only wanted live on the old family homestead, but wanted to bring back old family traditions as well. In addition to the crop farming that Tim and his brother took over (Bonneau Farms), we decided to bring back the tradition of raising livestock. Bonneau Ranch was started in the fall of 2020. Although cows and pigs were mainly raised in the past, we decided to start our new livestock adventure with Savanna goats. We chose the Savanna breed because of their great mothering ability, parasite tolerance and meaty build. We are raising both fullblood and cross Savanna goats. Our goal being to produce high quality meat goats for both breeding and commerical purposes. We also have 5 pet Nigerian Dwarf goats - Ezra, Fancy Pants, Daisy Duke, Munch and Vincent van Goat. They have become part of our family and are very fun to have around the Ranch. To protect the herd, we have three Livestock Guardian Dogs dogs - Si, Hank and Lola. Si and Hank are purebred Great Pyrenees. Lola is a Great Pryrenees and Anatolian mix. We also have four LGD puppies (Maggie, Luna, Cody and Stache) that are learning everyday from the three professionals. We hope you enjoy your visit and check back often as things are always changing out here on the Bonneau Ranch!!
